you really do need one server

If your business has more than 5 computers, there's really no question if you'll benefit from having a server.  If your business has grown to 10 or 20 computers, a server is an absolute necessity.  What you don't need to do is spend a ton of time and money to make it happen.  With Microsoft Small Business Server 2003, companies with 5 to 75 users can have all the tools that large companies with rooms full of servers have, for a fraction of the cost.  Pairing Small Business Server 2003 with the great Nobilis Servers below makes for a reliable, cost effective choice to get that server up and running.

a note on servers

Choosing and buying a server is one of the most important business investments you'll ever make.  Although it is important to ensure you've got high-quality equipment when it comes to all areas of technology, your entire business is dependent on your server, making it all the more important to buy the right equipment for your business.

Truthfully, you can't buy a server for $499.  The machine that is advertised for that price on the back of the catalog from the big manufacturers lacks the ability to even load a server operating system and offers components you wouldn't even want in your home PC.

Although $2499 may seem like a lot of money for a server, every single one we sell has redundant components and a backup system in it.  This means that if the component goes down, your business doesn't.  When it all comes down to it, your business staying up and running is much more important than saving a few hundred bucks, don't you think?
